Pal was a member of the Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Revelstoke Hospital Auxiliary and volunteered at the Thrift Shop for over 35 years. She enjoyed camping with her family and being with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pal had a crayon drawer in her kitchen for more than three generations and had more toys in her home than one could find in a toy store, just in case a child came to visit. She was always willing to help anyone in need and assisted many during her lifetime. Pal’s special ability was the inability to sugar coat things – she always told it like it was. Davis

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dad, Arthur L. Davis. Dad left to be with mom (Jean) who died July 2009 and our sister Lorel who died February 2010 and he started his journey on July 19, 2010.

Born on June 20, 1930 in Revelstoke, Dad and Mom started in Beaton where he worked for the Ministry of Highways as a road foreman. As our family grew, we moved into Revelstoke where dad was the foreman at 50 mile before moving back to Trout Lake. In 1988 he took early retirement and moved on to many road projects all over B.C. Trout Lake was Dad and Mom’s love and our best family memories will always be there. Fishing and hunting was what Arthur loved to do best. Dad’s request was for no formal funeral, just a family gathering that he had a part in arranging. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Revelstoke Hospice Society, P.O Box 3133, Revelstoke, B.C. V0E 2S0 would be wonderful.

He will be missed by his children: Louis (Pam), Sheryl (John), Darrel (Jennifer); grandchildren: Kevin, Christy, Wes, Allison, Jimmy, Bobbi-Jean, Crystal, Katrina and Jeremy; great grandchildren: Brooke, Elliott, Jenna, Shelley, Dylan, Ryder and Ainsley (Magoo to Dad). Dad had many friends over his 80 years who will miss his wit.

We love and miss you already, Louis, Sheryl and Darrel.

Cremation arrangements in the care of Brandon Bowers Funeral Home, Revelstoke
 		    ";
