She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Agnar Holt.  <br>Nancy is survived by her sons; Dave (Norma), Brian (Eleanor),  Victor and Glen (Yvonne). She is also survived by her grandchildren; Nancy, Laurie, Amanda, Michael, Shelby and by her great-grandchildren; Johnathan, Ashton, Lucas, Sammy and Laura. Nancy, a war-bride, became a homemaker happily raising her four sons. She enjoyed travelling and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. In later years, Nancy became an expert in Rug Hooking, creating beautiful works of art. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Hermine and their sons; Stephen (Sandy), Andrew (Laura) and Mark (Stephanie). Danny is also survived by his beloved grandchildren; Nicholas, Christopher, Brandon, Grant, Mitchell, Katlyn and Emma, as well as numerous family and friends. <br>Danny and Hermine immigrated from Jamaica in 1974, living in Maple Ridge, Hope and finally settling in Princeton. He is survived by his children: Anne (David) Metcalf, Patricia (Peter) Pellett, Brian (Cindy) Thair and Carol Thair; Grandchildren: Lynne (Rob), Joanne (Al), Donna, Shane (Shannon), Marnie (Darren), Robyn (Barry), Ryan, Mandi and Darcie; Great-grandchildren: Melanie, Tony, Alicia, Amy, Nykayla, Skylar, Nolin, Alan, Marley, Trenton, Brendan, Landon and Jaiden; Great-great grandchildren: Ethan, Brooklyn, Owen and Emma Leigh, as well as nephews: Alan, Dan and Edward. Al was predeceased by his beloved Molly (July 23, 2008), mother Anne Ellen, father Henry, brother Val, sister Gladys and nephew Ron. <br>Al was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on August 7, 1915. He moved to North Vancouver with his family as a child. He became a City of North Vancouver employee. He met Molly Francis (Gooding) and they were married October 18, 1940. They moved to Princeton in 1971 and then on to Calgary in 1984 and settled into retirement. Once Al retired, he was able to focus more on his finishing carpentry. He especially loved tinkering around in his home work-shop. Al and Molly enjoyed many summers of fishing and camping all over BC and Alberta with their family. They returned to Princeton in September of 2007 and settled comfortably into Ridgewood Lodge. <br>Al was a caring husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather, great-great grandfather, brother, and uncle who had a wonderful and fulfilling life. He will be missed by all who knew him.  <br>On behalf of Al and his family ~ a huge thank you to Dr. Adams who has cared for five generations of the Thair family, and to the staff of Ridgewood Lodge for their exceptional care of Al during the past 23/4 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Lewis and Gertrude Knight, and her loving husband of 42 years, Jerry Logan. She is survived by her son David (Gerri) Logan; daughter Kathy (Rick) Shave; grandchildren Erin (Chris) Chapman and Jessica (Kevin) Craig, Jordan, Jamieson (Tanya) and Colby Logan and great-grandchildren Nate Logan, Claire Chapman and Adelaide Craig. <br>Irene was born October 16, 1919 in Comox, BC.  <br>She attended nursing school at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria and shortly after graduating as an RN she enlisted in the Canadian army and served during World War II as a nursing sister in the field hospital operating rooms just outside of London, England. <br>After the war, Irene returned to BC and continued her nursing career.  While working in Vancouver, she met Jerry Logan, the son of a pioneer Vancouver family.  They married in 1948 and settled on the family farm until 1956, during which time their two children, Kathy and David were born.  In 1956 they moved to a ranch in Princeton, BC, where they lived happily for 30 years. Jerry and Irene left Princeton to retire on Vancouver Island in 1986.  After Jerry’s death in 1990, Irene continued to live in Royston until 1999, when she moved to Kelowna to be closer to her family. <br>The family would like to express their thanks to  <br>Dr. Warrender and Guisachan Family Medicine, to the residents and staff of Missionwood Retirement Resort, to Loretta and everyone at  Advocare, and to the staff at Sutherland Hills Rest Home for their care and kindness. <br>A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, July 9, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Andrews Anglican Church, 4619 Lakeshore Rd. She was born January 9, 1921 in Stockholm, Saskatchewan. <br>She is survived by her children; Ronald (Gloria), Marilyn,  <br>Janice (Darrell), Glen, Donna (Arnie), 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren, and by her sister, Anne. <br>She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Fred in 1991, her son Kenny in 1947, daughter Eileen in 1948, 3 sisters and 2 brothers, son-in-law Reg, daughter-in-law Mary Lou and grandson Duane. <br>During the 30’s the family moved from Stockholm SK, out to BC and settled in Westbridge, BC.  <br>This is where she met the love of her life, Fred and they were married on December 21, 1938. Fred worked for CP rail on the section and for the next 44 years she moved from section to section raising her family before settling in Princeton, BC. She worked briefly in the Princeton Hospital as housekeeper. <br>Family was very important to Doris and she made sure that they always got together at Christmas and during the summer for camp outs at the lake. The one thing that was always at any of the family gatherings was “Swedish Thin Bread” which was a recipe handed down from her mother. This was her special treat for all the family.
