AHC-BC provides <br>advice on operations and strategies to CMHC, <br>INAC and BC First Nations to improve First Nations <br>on-reserve housing. AHC-BC has tackled many signifi <br>cant housing issues and Betty was an important <br>member of AHC-BC who brought a professional <br>community housing perspective. <br>Betty is one of a small group who was truly an <br>expert at her career. She tackled the diffi cult issues <br>of on-reserve housing with stubborn determination <br>and admirable intelligence. Betty was a strong and <br>committed woman who gave her personal time <br>and resources to support the work of AHC-BC. <br>She brought a straight forward and enthusiastic <br>approach to her work with AHC-BC. Mom was passionate about issues of social justice and the environment. <br>She enjoyed the outdoors, her books, time in the garden, her pets Chilli and Peppurr and spending time with her family and friends.
