Joyce will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her beloved husband of 55 years, Russ; her two sons, Lee (Tina) Robson of Rimbey; and Doug (Karen) Robson of Red Deer; and two daughters, Debbie (Bev) Kallis of Red Deer; and Cheryl (Duane) Daines of Innisfail; as well as five cherished grandchildren, Courtney, Hannah, Garrett, Sydney, and Emma. She will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by three brothers, Ron    (Indra) Hamilton of Ottawa, Ontario; Bill (Loraine) Stevenson of Bentley; and Delbert (Joyce) Stevenson of Rimbey; in addition to many nieces and nephews. Joyce was predeceased by her parents, Wallace and Marie Stevenson; and her son, Wane Russell Robson. A Private Family Graveside Service in Celebration of Joyce\'s Life was held at the Bentley  Cemetery, Bentley on Friday, August 20, 2010 with the Reverend Mark Stevenson officiating. Cremation took place at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer. During her last years, she was ably cared for by the staff in Continuing Care at Rimbey General Hospital. Predeceased by her husband, Bill Mills, she is survived by her sons, Blaine (Michelle) from Calgary, Rod from Red Deer and Colin who lives on the family farm in Bluffton. Jean was born on November 26, 1931, in Calgary, to parents William Edward (Ed) and Jessie Kunder, from the age of five, she was raised in the home of Jim and Florence McKevitt, in Red Deer Lake. In that family she will be lovingly missed by Gail Skidmore, her children, Devon and Teri (Rob) and their families from Chilliwack, BC; and Gary McKevitt from Protection Island BC. Jean had a great sense of humour and all who knew her will remember her \"one-liners\" which ably sized up any situation in which she found herself. She and Bill lived in the Rimbey area for over forty-five years and will be remembered by many friends and family. We would like to thank the many nurses and care workers at Rimbey Hospital who showed such interest in providing Jean during her residence there. She fought a courageous and dignified battle with cancer. Ruby was born on March 8, 1929 in Rimbey, AB. to Rasmine and William Woods. She attended school at Lockhart School and was married to Harvey Haarstad on Jan. 25, 1948. She was a proud farm wife; helping with chores, cooking great meals and raising five children. She loved spending time with her family and friends and she treasured her community. Ruby was pre-deceased by her brother Clarence Woods; her grandson, Jay Screpnek and her daughter Cheryl Screpnek. Ruby is survived by Harvey, her loving husband of 62 years and by her daughter Lynda (Garry) Petten and sons; Everett (Sherry) Haarstad, Ken (Leslie) Haarstad and Larry (Donna) Haarstad. Grandma Ruby will be very much missed by her 12 grandchildren and 16  great-grandchildren as well as a host of extended family and friends. A celebration of Ruby\'s life will be held on Monday, August 16, 2010, and friends and family are invited to the Inurnment and graveside service at the Vig Cemetary, Grace Lutheran Church, at 11:30 am, followed by a memorial service at the Bentley Ag. Byron was born on October 12, 1940 in Edgerton, Alberta. The eldest of five children born to James Albert McGaughey and Marion Dorothea (nee Jackson). He received his elementary and high school education in Edgerton and moved to Edmonton after  completing his training in mechanics. Meanwhile his family moved to Hoadley, Alberta where in 1967 his father was killed in a farming accident and Byron moved home to take care of the farm. He resided in Hoadley and later  Rimbey until in 1982 he moved to Whiterock, B.C. He met and   married Joan (the love of his life in 1986).  <br>They lived in Surrey, B.C.  until the time of his passing. <br>He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife Joan, his two sons, Shawn and David, his daughter, Rebecca, seven grandchildren, two sisters, Lynn Loy and Laurel (Rod) Schaff and numerous nieces and nephews. <br>He was predeceased by his father and mother, brother    Michael and sister Cynthia.
