He was born in Chilliwack and is survived by his wife Amy Pettis, parents Henry (Jr) and Linda Pettis, his daughter Lizzy Pettis, brother Mark Campbell, sisters Melanie Pettis, Jamielynn Pettis, Valerie Pettis, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his great-grandma Margaret Murphy, grandparents Henry & Christine (Tiny) Pettis, grandparents Jim Fraser & Margaret Murphy, God Dad Henry Murphy, uncles Joey Pettis, William (Buddy) Pettis, Archie Fraser and aunt Darlene Joseph. <br>Daniel was given the nickname \"Tubby\" at the age of two. He was a Volunteer Fire Fighter of the Seabird Island Fire Department for 18 years. He graduated from Agassiz Secondary School in 2000. Daniel loved spending his summers up at the Pettis family fish camp in Yale. He also enjoyed playing baseball and soccer. Daniel had many career paths in Carpentry, cattle farming, planting trees, Rock Picking, Rebar and cooked at the Seabird Island Cafe. <br>Daniel\'s smile could impact the entire room and in every walk of his life he would make friends and he always had a hug for everyone and always shared how much he cared about you. <br>Prayers will be held on Wednesday, September 1st 2010 at 7:00 p.m. at 3124 Seabird Island Road. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, John and her brothers Doug and Murray.  She is survived by her son David; her daughter and son-in-law Donna and Bruce; her grandchildren (her source of pride and joy) Jody, Colton and Ryan; her brothers Edward, Randy and Richard; her sister Gladys; and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.  Born, raised, and married in Vancouver she moved to Revelstoke, to Mica, to Agassiz, and finally to Chilliwack.  Known for her love of cards, especially bridge, and her willingness to volunteer to help others in their time of need, she was well loved and highly thought of by all who were lucky enough to have known her. She had a smile that could lighten up a room, a wonderful sense of humour, and a willingness to listen to people and offer suggestions for help that were always on the mark.  Her soft voice and gentle manner hid a depth of character and determination that kept her going through many periods of trouble. He is survived by his parents, grandparents, Jake and Sophia Hertgers, Syds and Gerda Tjepkema; siblings, Julia (Travis), their children, Jillyan and Theo; Nathan (Julia),their children, Zachariah, Natalia and Nathaniel. He was predeceased by his brother James in 1978. David was born on February 11, 1982 in Chilliwack. He lived with many shortcomings, but that never stopped him from living life to the max. His love for people was evident with the many hugs and smiles that he so generously gave to the young or old. <br>School held many challenges for him, attending Agassiz Christian, Harrison and finally graduating from Abbotsford Christian High in 2000. <br>He enjoyed working around the family farm with his John Deere Gator, until he was offered a job cleaning up on construction sites. He was diligent in his work and took pride in a job well done. In December of 2005, David was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. The cancer kept coming back even after many chemo treatments, radiation as well as a stem cell transplant. The last few years, he spent time making jigsaw puzzles, watching hockey and playing on his Wii. Even though his journey caused him much pain, he was not a complainer and always praised God for what he was still able to do. His childlike faith in Jesus was an example to us all. He was a blessed young man who made friends wherever he went. <br>We praise God for the many caregivers along his journey. He captured the hearts of many doctors and nurses along the way. <br>A visitation for family and friends was held on Friday, July 23 at Agassiz Christian Reformed Church, 7452 Morrow Rd. Born in Hazel Slade, England on October 17, 1924, Audrey was the only daughter of George Thomas Nixon and Nellie May Nixon.  <br>Audrey was predeceased by her husband of more than fifty years, Alfred Hughes. She is survived by all six of her children, John (Pauline), Edward, David (Elaine), Ronald (Cherie), Gordon (Wendy), and Ruth, and by her five grandchildren, Phillip, Christina, Merrilee, Olivia, and Melissa. <br>Audrey Hughes lived in England before, during, and after World War II and was married in 1942. She emigrated to Canada in 1954 with her five sons to join her husband who had come over the previous year to start a new life for the family. They lived in Toronto until 1958 when they moved to Calgary. Their daughter, Ruth, was born in 1958. While raising her family, Audrey was active in Home and School Associations and in fund-raising for charities such as United Way. She worked at Sears in Calgary for several years and, after retiring, moved to Agassiz in 1986. Audrey was then active in the United Church in Agassiz. He was born on May 5th 1918 at Sumas, Washington. <br>	\'Chip\' is survived by his sons Garth (Sharon) of Alaska, Gary of Harrison Hot Springs, Gene (Harriet Brosius) of Seattle Washington, granddaughters Shannon Parberry (Harold Soule) of Alaska, Shareen Minor of Spokane Washington, great-grandchildren Ronald and Sara Minor of Spokane Washington, sister Gloria Swanson of Washington and numerous nieces and nephews. <br>	He was predeceased by his wife of 55 years Vivian Jean Parberry on August 13th 1995. <br>	Chip went to school at Whatcom Road and graduated from Nooksack Valley High. He attended the University of Washington in the 1930\'s and in 1940 married Vivian Merson from Rosedale. He operated Sumas Truck Lines in the Abbotsford Sumas area through the 1940\'s. In the early 1950\'s he sold the truck lines and went to work in the logging industry on Harrison Lake. In 1958 he moved his family to the Agassiz Harrison area. In the later 1960\'s he worked on the Mica Dam Project by Revelstoke.  In the middle 1970\'s and early 1980\'s Chip worked for Pioneer Motors in Agassiz. He attended John Dolan School until 1968 until he and his parents moved to Chilliwack. He went to Sunshine Drive Occupational Centre. Sunny made many friends with his smile. Everyone was his \"friend\". In 1976, Sunny moved back to Saskatoon where he worked at the Cosmo Centre and joined the Special Olympics Hockey Team. Sunny came back to the area in 1996 with his mom, settling in Agassiz. Sunny loved everything and everybody.  <br>Leon (Sunny) will be sadly missed by his sisters, Addy, Sylvia (John), Sally (Marcelle) and Anne (Frank); many nieces and nephews and all his friends. He was predeceased by his mom, daddy and sister, Roma. It took so little to make him happy because everything was his \"favorite\". We will miss you \"brother\" and \"Uncle\". Michael was born in Chilliwack and raised in Harrison Hot Springs and Agassiz. Michael had a wonderful spirit and loved his family and friends. He was passionate about music, literature and photography. He was a talented, insightful writer whose works were incredibly poignant. He loved baseball, was an unsurpassable shortstop and as a pitcher, through a 92 mph fastball. He also loved golf and could outdrive almost anyone who played against him. He excelled in University and was proud of his work in the Cardiac Unit at Children\'s Hospital in Vancouver, as well as his work as an officer. Michael\'s passing leaves a deep void in the lives of family and friends. His memory will be honoured and treasured and remembered for the beauty he brought to our lives.  <br>Michael leaves to mourn his daughter, Hannah, 3 years; sisters, Jennifer (James) McGregor, Diana (Laird) Munro; parents, John and Andrea McRae; grandparents, Andrew and Cora Mowatt, grandfather, Ernie Faessier; nieces, Grace McGregor, Mary Kate and Nicole Munro and nephews, Matthew and Daniel Munro; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
