He was 75. <br>Dick was born March 23, 1935 in Wauwatosa, Wis., to Ruth and Merrill Wood. He moved to Sammamish in 1998 with his parents, and attended Bellevue Community College. <br>Matthew died April 14, at the University of Washington Medical Center. He was 30 years old. <br>Matthew worked at call centers providing technical support for a variety of industries. He had a robust life and participated in a variety of interests and hobbies such as acrylic painting, philosophy, movies, especially Star Wars, cooking, and reading science fiction. <br>He also wrote poetry, enjoyed fishing and was known to wear tie-dye shirts and argyle socks — a choice that linked him to his grandfather Paul St. Pierre — who engineered the machinery that made the argyle patterns. <br>His family remembers Matthew as a generous, caring and forgiving man. He was known as a determined man who was funny, quirky, flamboyant and candid – yet he was kind and mellow. <br>Matthew was engaged to Jon Gibson at J.C. Penney in front of a crowd of shoppers, in August 2009. They were to marry in June 2010. <br>Matthew is survived by his parents Paul and Dorothy St. Pierre of Sammamish, his brother Robert P. St. Pierre of Redmond, and his sister Elizabeth A. Courage of Kirkland. As a very young child she moved to San Diego, California. <br>She loved to perform in plays while in high school. <br>Burdie was married to Herb Kaylor for 40 years, and they had two daughters, Donna Brush of Paradise, Ca., and Betty Luce of Sammamish. <br>She was widowed, and later married Russ Cooper. They were married for seven years. <br>Burdie was widowed again, and married Joe Hamm. They were married for seven years, and she once again was widowed. <br>Her first husband owned a furniture store in Altadena, Ca., and she worked in the office. <br>She loved to entertain, and was wonderful cook. Elisabeth Sato of Sammamish passed away on February 28, 2010 at Providence Marianwood nursing home. She was 82. Elisabeth was born on March 26, 1927 in Sandhausen, Germany. She married Jack Sato on July 29, 1954 in Heidelberg Germany. Elisabeth and Jack met in post-war Germany where Jack was stationed in the US army. After marriage, Elisabeth moved to this country with Jack and became a US citizen. Elisabeth was a devoted wife and mother to her four children. She is remembered as a very generous person who loved being with her family. She was fond of sewing and craftwork and traveled extensively. Elisabeth is survived by her husband, Jack Sato of Sammamish, WA; daughters: Evelyn Peters (husband Kriss) of Graham, WA; Sibylle Horvath (husband Larry) of Crown Point, IN, and Kay Soukup (husband Ron) of Sammamish, WA. Elisabeth leaves behind five grand-children and four great grandchildren. Elisabeth’s son Marc predeceased her in 1995. He is survived by his loving daughters Susan Lee Hook and husband Rob Hook of Issaquah and Barbara Lee Walker and her life partner Patrick Augusta of Morongo Valley, California.  Dwain was born in Mineral Wells, Texas where he still has many family ties. He left Texas for California in 1929 where he met his wife,  Dorris Ida Point, in 1935 to whom he was married for 53 years.   He worked in the grocery industry in and around Los Angeles for over 45 years culminating in the building and operation of the first “super ranch market” in Garden Grove, California in 1946.  He and Dorris ultimately took up the challenge of avocado ranching in 1974.  After retiring from ranching in 1978, he and Dorris moved to Long Beach Peninsula in Washington where they enjoyed life by the ocean.Dwain was one of those friendly people who never met a stranger and left a happy imprint with most everyone he met.  Friends and family will remember his infectious smile and laugh and endless stories.  His boundless energy and enthusiasm for hard work, travel and adventure throughout his years was amazing to all who tried to keep up with him. His family, friends, caregivers and neighbors will surely mss him. Lessard of Bellevue. <br>Dad is survived by his son William Alan Lessard and his wife Lisa, his daughter Suzanne Denise Barrett and her husband Greg — who has been great support through out this difficult time. <br>He is also survived by his grandson James H. Nichols and his great grandson James C.
