Buckley resident Linda Ann Miller, 63, died Aug. 30, 2010, following a brief battle with cancer.
She was born July 8, 1947, and lived on the Plateau all her life. With her husband, she owned and operated Roy’s Jewelry in Enumclaw for 37 years before retiring. She enjoyed shopping in thrift stores, playing with her grandchildren and working in her flower beds.
She is survived by sons Todd, Jason and Kris of Buckley and Joe of South Dakota; brother Ken Nelson of Auburn, Wash.; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by LeRoy C. Miller, her husband of 42 years.
A memorial service is planned for 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3 at Weeks’ Funeral Home in Buckley.

Enumclaw resident Donald Fay Smith, 74, died Aug. 28, 1010.
He was born Dec. 23, 1935, in Seattle to Fay Elliott and Dorothy Smith. He graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1954 and served in the U. S. Army. He owned and operated Don’s Auto Rebuild. After 25 years of teaching at Green River Community College, he retired. He liked to travel and work on cars.
He is survived by wife Ona L. Smith of Enumclaw; son Steve Elliott Smith and wife Cheryl of Enumclaw; brothers Don S. Smith of Georgia and Gerald Smith of Enumclaw; and four grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Enumclaw Fire Fighters Association, 1330 Wells St., Enumclaw, 98022.
At his request, there were no services.

Enumclaw resident Mike Kalin, 61, died Aug. 22, 2010.
He was born March 8, 1949, in Miami, Fla., to Joe and Virginia Kalin and moved to Enumclaw the next year. He attended Enumclaw schools, graduating in 1967. Six months later he enlisted in the Air Force. He served for four years, including 18 months in Vietnam, an experience which had a profound, lifelong impact. In 1971, after receiving his honorable discharge, he returned to Enumclaw. He worked as a mechanic at his family’s Union station on Griffin Avenue. He loved to work in the yard and grow vegetables. He enjoyed working in his shop and collecting coins and he followed the Mariners, Seahawks and Kasey Kahne.
He is survived by brother Bruce Kalin and wife Cathy; stepdaughters Jody Smith and husband Bob, Kelli Parkinson and Jami McGuiness and husband Dennis; and 13 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by wife Melody.
A memorial service took place Friday, Aug. 27, at Weeks’ Enumclaw Funeral Home.

Ishmal Leroy “Lee” Mozingo died Aug. 20, 2010.
He is survived by wife Linda Mozingo; sons Terry Mozingo and Ted Mozingo; daughters Brenda Biller, Stacy Dunn and Denise Stine; in-laws Cindy Mozingo, Kathy Mozingo, Tim Biller and Sean Dunn; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Ruby; son Timmy; and sisters Poly and Loretta.
A private, family memorial service will be planned.

She was born Dec. 8, 1919, in California.
She is survived by children Russell Perazzo, Charles Perazzo and Maribeth Vassallo; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life is planned for 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, at her home in Kent.

Brita Ann Campbell, 67, died Aug. 15, 2010, in Bellingham, Wash.
She is survived by sons Lancey III, Jere, Mike, Jeff and Greg; daughter Sheryl; sister Norma Valberg; brother John Broo; and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by ex-husband Lancey Campbell Jr. and sister Alice McKinney.
A memorial service took place Aug. 21 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Bellingham.

Buckley resident Ronald A. Woodall, 65, died Aug. 13, 2010, in Tacoma.
He was born Dec. 4, 1944, in Dallas, Ore., to Lawrence and Pricilla (Haddon) Woodall. When he was young he raced motorcycles in Oregon. He worked at the Alaska Pulp Mill and Alps Federal Credit Union. He was a NASCAR fanatic, loved cars and was a great mechanic.
He is survived by wife Jeannine Erickson Woodall of Buckley; daughters Laura Feazle and husband Tom of Hillsboro, Ore., Lisa Tzantarmas of Salt Lick, Ky., and Lynnette Turman of Gresham, Ore.; sister Bonnie Johnson and husband Norman of Dayton, Ore.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place at a later date in Oregon.

Katherine Koehler “Kate” Parr, 57, died Aug. 12, 2010, at her home in Bonney Lake.
She was born Katherine Ann Smith Oct. 18, 1952, along with her identical twin Victoria Rae Smith. She grew up in Helena, Mont., and spent many years in Billings, Mont., before moving to the Puyallup area in the 1980s. She worked at the John L. Scott real estate office in Enumclaw and loved camping, fishing, four-wheeling, boating, gardening and attending a good party.
She is survived by husband Tom Parr of Bonney Lake; son Lance Koehler of Orting; daughter Jennifer Parr of Kennewick; sisters Vickie Smith of Kirkland, Wash., and Lee and husband Tom Hoemann of Olympia, Wash.; brother Lary Smith and wife Jo Ann of Portland, Ore.; and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents Max and Wilma Baker Smith and her brothers Alan, Bill and Cletus.
A memorial service and lunch to celebrate her life took place at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 23, at Rainier Hills Christian Fellowship, 23711 Entwhistle Rd. E. in Buckley.
Donations may also be made in her memory to the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, P.O. Box 19023, Seattle 98109-1023, with special thanks to Dr. Bill Harris for his compassionate care.
Arrangements were by Weeks’ Funeral Home of Buckley.
