Our Sister Mother, Grandmother and beloved Friend. Passed away peacefully August 18, 2010, with family and close friends by her side throughout a brave battle with cancer, Anna will be remembered for her infectious smile and unconditional love which she had for her family and close friends. She will be missed by her siblings Mia, Hennie, Garry, daughters Louise, Lorraine and grandchildren Laine, Dustin, Scott, Shaun. Many close friends.

It is with great sadness that the family of John Allan Price announces his passing in Abbotsford hospital, Monday, August 16, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born at St. Paul\'s hospital in Vancouver, B.C. he was predeceased by his son John Patrick and is survived by his beloved wife Winnifred and by his eleven children: Maureen (Brent), Allen (Angie), Robert (Reeann), Patricia (Harold), Deb (Norm), Gary (Debbie), Del (Teri), Melody (Geordie), Shelley, Hayley (John), Carla (Dan), and by his twenty-five grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
He will always be loved.

It is with extreme sadness that the family of Clifford Earl Davidson announces his passing in Abbotsford Hospital, Thursday July 29, 2010.
Born in Flat Lake, Alberta he and his beloved wife June move to Aldergrove in 1948. He was predeceased by two daughters Myra ( Paul) and Judy and one great grandson Eric; sons Richard (Edith) and Tom (Donna); daughters Bonnie (Fred), Penny (Don), Kelly (Robert) and Kim; seventeen grand-children and fourteen great grand-children. Celebration of life is planned for 11:00 am Sept 4, 2010 at Bradner Community Hall, 5305 Bradner Rd. Abbotsford, BC.

CHAPMAN, William Harrison, aged 102 yrs, a resident of Magnolia Gardens, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2010. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his wife Olive in December 1991. Uncle Bill loved his acreage, long walks, dogs, horses and classical music. A Celebration of his life and internment was held at Valley View Memorial Gardens on Tues. Aug. 24, 2010 at 11am. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Aldergrove United Church, the SPCA or the charity of your choice.

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Andy, he leaves to mourn his wife of 34 years Shameela; his children, Tina (Jeff), Lusinda, Tapooh and Armind; grandchildren, Madison, Kelton, Gabrieal, and Caitlin; his sisters, Pierrette, Terry, Paulette, brother Donald plus many more family members. Andy is predeceased by his parents, and son, Matthew John, and Shelby. Funeral Service to be held at Hendersons Funeral Home, Langley on Friday, July 30, 2pm.

WELCH, Martin Richard (Dick), born April 16, 1931 in Duchess, Alberta. Passed away Monday July 19, 2010 in Langley Hospital from cancer. Predeceased by his mother in 1993, and father in 1951 and older brother Bob in 2000. He is survived by daughter Debbie, son Ricky (Connie the mother of their children, Kyle, Valerie, Susan and Lisa; son Jeff (wife Aranka and children Ariella, Celeste Camile, and Malachi), 2 brothers, Henry & George & 2 sisters, Debbie & Margaret. Dick worked as a painter in Calgary and Toronto before coming to Vancouver and took great pride in his work. He will be greatly missed by family & friends. A memorial service will be held Thursday July 29th, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Aldergrove Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 26245-28th Ave. Aldergrove.

Edna passed peacefully in hospital at the age of 93 surrounded by her family on June 29th, 2010.
Preceded by her son Frankie, husband Frank and daughter in-law Judy, she is survived by her eight children Shirley Kramer (Helmut), Allan Cartwright, Ivan Cartwright, Wilf Cartwright (Jeannie), Pat Frederick, Wendy Anderson (Denny), Stephen Cartwright (Linda), Vick Plitt (Darren). She also leaves behind 25 grand children, 37 great grand children, and 1 great great grandchild.
Edna was born Feb 4, 1917 in Usk, BC. Born on the north bank of the Skeena River, she was the first white girl born in the area. In 1925 the family moved to County Line. Edna met Frank in the summer of 1933 at a dance in County Line and in 1934 they were married and soon after started raising a family of their own. She raised her family in the Glen Valley area until 1959 when they moved to Murrayville then to Zero Avenue in Langley in 1968 finally living her last 25 years in the City of Langley.
Through the toughest times of the 1930s and 40 right through the turn of the next century Edna made her way with determination and feist. She was a pioneer in the Fort Langley area; and from motherhood in a wind whistled home watching for cougars in the yard through working her own fish-boat on the Mighty Fraser River to Langley taxi driver she persevered through it all. Edna made her way through life by putting one foot in front of the other for 93 years. She was laid to rest in Fort Langley on the July 6th, 2010

Born in Vancouver July 6, 1957, entered into rest June 25, 2010 after her courageous battle with Cancer. Kate was a great Mother and best friend, who will never be forgotten. Kind and gentle nature, an amazing person who touched many lives. Lovingly remembered by her family and friends. To carry out her wishes, there will be no service. She wanted friends to join in a gathering to remember the good times they shared at Bretts residence 2754 Station Rd. July 10, 2010 at 2 p.m. BYOB & chair. In lieu of flowers donations to the BC Cancer Foundation.

Roy Siver passed away on Friday, June 18th 2010 at the Chilliwack General Hospital, at age 86 years. He was born in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Roy will be remembered by his children Mike, Wendy and Judy, grandchildren Billie, Jenn, and Kris, one great-granddaughter Keara, and his brother George Siver. He was predeceased by his wife Marion.
Roy will be missed by his family, friends, and students as he was a dedicated teacher in BC for 30 years. He loved golf, cricket, reading, and doing puzzles. He was on the UBC Olympic Gymnastics team until he enlisted in the Medical Corp. of the Second World War. He was present at Normandy on D-Day. Then two Siver brothers met two Doubleday sisters and were wed in a double ceremony. Roy and Marion were married for 54 happy years. Thank-you to Parkholm staff and friends for the good times he enjoyed so much.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 24th 2010 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel at Henderson\'s Funeral Home. For more service details please visit www.hendersonsfunerals.com

We did not see you close your eyes

Barry was taken from us suddenly on his way home to Terrace, BC after attending his daughter\'s high school graduation in Aldergrove, BC. Barry was born in Creston, BC and leaves behind his wife, Susan; daughter, Rebecca (Boo); sons, Colton and Connor; his mother and father, Dale and Marlene Samuelson of Aldergrove; sister, Bonnie (Stan) Poznekoff of Abbotsford, BC; brother, Tim Samuelson of Chilliwack, BC; and his extended family of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and his beloved in-laws.
Memorial Services were held at the Pentecostal Assembly in Terrace, BC on June 4, 2010, officiated by his firefighting-friend/Minister, Lowell Holmquist. Barry was honored by both the Terrace Fire Department and Abbotsford Fire Department.
The family would like to express their deepest thanks to the Terrace Fire Department, in particular Chief Peter Weeber for the support and assistance they\'ve provided through this difficult time. They would also like to thank our Terrace community for the overwhelming support and recognition that has been shown since this tragedy occurred.
